Barsham Old Hall

Recent find of major Iron Age workings near the C15 Hall. Owners include Sir John Suckling (comptroller to James I) and his son, John, the Cavalier poet. After buffet lunch, tour continues at Barsham Church which has strong Trollope and Nelson connections. Rare house plants for sale in nursery.
