Cirque Du Ciel’s ShangHi has captivated and enthralled audiences across the world. With over 30 amazingly multi-talented and skilled performers, this marvellous two hour extravaganza combines acrobatics, modern dance, martial arts, original music and many other traditional and modern Chinese elements within a fantastic adventure story.
Originally directed in China by Cirque Du Soleil’s Guy Caron this internationally acclaimed production has been theatrically reworked to appeal to audiences of all ages and returns to the UK by overwhelming popular demand.
With over 500 superb costumes, intricate scenery and fantastic lighting, the astonishing Mexican hat juggling routine, the terrifying yet beautiful aerial silks and the famous death defying Chinese Monkey Poles, ShangHi is a dizzying mix of balancing, tumbling, spinning, and brilliant live drumming.
