Shakespeare’s tale of love and betrayal skirts the boundaries of tragedy and comedy to deliver one of the Bard’s most magical, mysterious and ultimately heart-warming plays.

King Leontes’ suspicions of his wife Hermione’s infidelity lead him to tear his family apart, imprisoning her and leaving their newly born girl abandoned to the elements.

Sixteen years later, the scandalous marriage of a Prince to a shepherd’s daughter offers him the possibility of reconciliation and redemption.

Mercury Associate Director, Sue Lefton (Nora, Death of a Salesman, Our Country’s Good), returns to direct a large cast of Company actors.

Enter the Mercury for this epic tale, then exit (pursued by a bear!).
