Round The Horne

Following their star appearance at our season launch back in July Kenneth Williams (Robin Sebastian) and Kenneth Horne (Jonathan Rigby) arrive back in Colchester next week for a fortnight of Round The Horne! Bona Fantabuloso!

Who can resist the charms of J. Peasemould Gruntfuttock, Rambling Syd Rumpo, the heart-stopping Dame Celia Moleslaughter, fiendish mastermind Chou En Ginsgberg M.A. (Failed) and his common as muck concubine Lotus Blossom, those two “resting “professionals” Julian and Sandy and many more…

Round The Horne opens on Wednesday 2 September. But catch Robin and Jonathan on BBC Radio 4 on Tuesday 1 September at 11.30am for a special broadcast of a lost script written for Kenneth Horne and Kenneth Williams in 1966 by Horne and his ghost writer, Mollie Millest. Robin Sebastian and Jonathan Rigby take the lead roles as the two Kenneths, with contributions from Charles Armstrong, who takes on the role as the announcer.
