Please let us know of any requirements you or anyone in your party may have. We will do all we can to make your visit as enjoyable and as straightforward as possible.
Tickets for disabled customers including those who have impaired sight or hearing and the person accompanying them are just £7.50 for Mercury Theatre Company performances and £10.50 for all other shows unless otherwise indicated.
There is a low level counter suitable for wheelchair users at our Box Office.
We will hold seats for Audio Described and Captioned performances (in the best area for that service) up until two weeks before the performance and after this point they will be available on a first come first served basis.
There is limited disabled parking under the front canopy for blue badge holders which operates on a first come first served basis.
A lift situated along the corridor to the right of the Box Office is available for patrons who have trouble negotiating the stairs.

We welcome Assistance Dogs at all performances, please inform us when booking.

The Mercury Theatre can accommodate up to 4 wheelchair users in the main auditorium with ample accommodation in the Mercury Studio Theatre. Please state that you require a wheelchair space when booking. To ensure we seat your party appropriately, we regret you cannot book wheelchair spaces online. Please call the Box Office on 01206 573948 or email us and we will respond as quickly as possible

An infrared enhancement system is available in the main auditorium at all performances. Our system is suitable for use with or without a hearing aid.

Absent Friends Sat 10 Mar 2.30pm, Roots Thu 26 Apr 7.30pm and Dancing at Lughnasa Sat 16 Jun 2.30pm will be Audio Described.
Audio description is a live commentary on the visual elements of a production.
Receivers and headsets for hearing enhancement and audio description services need to be booked in advance when purchasing your tickets. A refundable deposit of £5.00 is required for each hearing enhancement or audio description receiver.

Absent Friends Tue 6 Mar 7.30pm, Roots Tue 24 Apr 7.30pm and Dancing at Lughnasa Tue 12 Jun 7.30pm will be Captioned.
Captioning converts the spoken word, songs and sound effects into text on a caption unit on the stage.
