The Mercury’s main drama company you know and love has expanded to offer more opportunities to the amazing young people we welcome through our doors each week.

MYC Performers will receive weekly training from our Mercury teaching artists, which will develop:
• Voice
• Movement
• Text analysis
• Creating a character
• Scene work
• Improvisation skills
• Acting techniques

Weekly sessions from Wed 15 Apr, 7.30-9.30pm (Please note: no session on Wed 27 May due to half term).

MYC Bursary

We want as many young people as possible to have access to our creative activities, and we do not want someone’s financial situation to be a barrier to taking part. The MYC Bursary exists to enable participants to take part in activities provided by Mercury Theatre. Apply below. Places are limited and subject to availability. If places are full, we can put you on a waiting list.
