BA(Hons) Acting and Creative Performance are off to the Brighton Fringe Festival in May. Here is your chance to see a preview of the shows! Two shows each night so it’s two for the price of one!
Wednesday 24th May
Dot. Dot. Dot.
An absurdist play following and exploring a dysfunctional relationship. Drawing inspiration from Samuel Beckett’s ‘Waiting for Godot’ we muddle through their unstable network of support and neglect as they struggle to understand each other and themselves.
If you are only half of who you are, would there still be enough of you? Mary suffers with demons in her life day in and day out. “Just Broken” an original story explores the unstable relationship of a couple with mental health issues. Is anyone in this world normal?
Thursday 25th May
The Stroop Effect
What is the difference between reality and belief? What is the difference between being awake and asleep? Brace yourself for an epic Physical Theatre piece; entrance yourself in to a lucid dream-state. Sweet dreams…
The Fool, The Champ and The Bandito
Join us on a journey where we will explore the effects of laughter, alcohol and the random rubbish three actors can come up with. Of course we can’t forget to comment on politics and social events, so don’t worry, it’s not all for the hell of it.
