BULL
by Mike Bartlett

‘‘They just don’t like me, this is nothing to do with business.”

A razor-sharp play about the fine line between office politics and playground bullying, Bull offers ringside seats as three employees fight to keep their jobs.

Sally Woodcock directs a new production of Mike Bartlett’s acid tongued play which was originally performed at the Crucible Studio Theatre, Sheffield in 2013 where it won the UK Theatre Award for Best New Play. It opened at the Young Vic Theatre, London in January 2015 and was revived there later that year. It won the 2015 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre.

Playwright Mike Bartlett is one of the UK’s most exciting and inventive writers. His plays have been performed at the National Theatre, the Royal Court and around the UK. These include King Charles III, Earthquakes in London, 13, My Child, Cock (also in New York) and Love, Love, Love. He has written adaptations of Chariots of Fire (Hampstead Theatre and West End) and Media (Headlong). His work for television includes Doctor Foster (BBC) and The Town (ITV).
