Essex Witches – A Discussion
Join us for a fascinating evening in the Studio where we’ll discuss Essex witches with the author of The Manningtree Witches, A.K. Blakemore, and local experts.
This discussion panel will explore the history and myths of Essex witches, shedding light on the lives affected by this important period of local history. You can expect:
- Expert insights into the social, political, and religious tensions of the period
- New perspectives on the individuals accused
- Discussions with author A.K. Blakemore, experts from Essex Witch Museum, the University of Essex and Colchester Museum
