Biographies

Charlotte Luxford

An award-winning actress from Colchester, Charlotte began her professional career in film and theatre, while at university, and graduated in 2014. Her credits range from Shakespeare to new writing in theatre – including Romeo and JulietAs You Like It; Packing Shed Theatre’s In Search of England and Nina Raine’s Rabbit at the Mercury Theatre. She has also taken roles in successful drama and comedy films, such as The Voice in the Head and It’s Not Custard.

In addition to working on screen and stage, Charlotte has lent her voice to several films, documentaries, BBC radio dramas and audiobooks.

Neil D’Arcy-Jones

The founder and artistic director of Colchester’s Packing Shed Theatre Company, Neil is a former local arts journalist who has written several plays, which have been variously staged in London, Norwich, Ipswich, and in his home town of Colchester. As well as plays, Neil has written two children’s books, two short films, co-written and created the audio podcast series, 1954, and is the producer behind Castle Park Theatre.
