Listen to  acoustic performers Rosalind Harniess, Generation Feral, and Jack Walsh who will perform a 30 minute set each.

Rosalind Harniess
Drawing influence from songwriters such as Paul Simon, Carole King and James Taylor, Rosalind started writing and performing original material whilst studying music at Colchester Institute. With honest, introspective lyrics and catchy melodies, her songs incorporate elements from jazz, folk and indie rock. Her debut EP ‘When the Morning Breaks’ (released in 2019) can be found on Spotify, Apple Music and all other platforms.

Generation Feral
Songwriter and solo musician Generation Feral (Izzy Liddamore) grew up busking and playing live in Colchester. Inspired by the likes of Fiona Apple and Kae Tempest, her rock-influenced piano music aims to depict navigating early adulthood in 2022, and the slew of emotions that come with it. Her first single “too numb, too fast” was released last year on all streaming platforms, with a follow up coming next month.

Produced by Derrick Rice & Victoria Weaver in partnership with the Mercury Theatre.

Jack Walsh
Colchester local Jack Walsh is an all-original songwriter covering topics from pensioners fighting to narcolepsy, inebriated story-telling to repairing broken pottery. His musical style is influenced by the frankness of Frank Turner, Joe Talbot’s roar, and the half-rhyme queen Courtney Barnett. His debut project is due for release in the forthcoming weeks.
