Lates: Comedy Night – Fringe Preview (July)
We are proud to be hosting Avalon Comedy as part of our Lates Comedy Nights, a monthly series of laugh out loud comedy events featuring the best up and coming comedians.
Our third Lates Comedy Night features Sara Barron and Jayde Adams.
Sara Barron is one of the fastest-rising comedians of her generation. Since her 2018 debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, she’s starred on shows like Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You, and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order. A powerhouse live act, Sara’s two stand-up hours, For Worse and Enemies Closer have sold out runs at both the Edinburgh Festival and London’s Soho Theatre. She was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and at the Chortle Awards, as well as receiving rave reviews.
Change is always hard and what better person to lead the men, selflessly by the hand into the new world than TV’s Jayde Adams. Multi award winning comedian and actress, Jayde Adams’ critically-acclaimed special was released on Amazon Prime to worldwide applause, was longlisted for an Emmy and has amassed over 156 million views. Jayde stars in Sophie Willan’s BAFTA winning TV series Alma’s Not Normal (BBC Two), the upcoming Take That movie Greatest Days and also stars in Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens (Amazon Prime). She is the co-host of the BAFTA nominated series Snackmasters and Netflix smash hit, Crazy Delicious.
