A Mercury Theatre Colchester and Salisbury Playhouse production

Mushnik’s Flower Shop is open for business as the monster musical Little Shop of Horrors takes over the Mercury Theatre with its feel-good mix of fun, flamboyance… and foliage.

Down-and-out shop worker Seymour becomes an overnight sensation when he raises a plant that feeds on fresh blood. Soon the plant is taking over the world and offering Seymour fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.

Will Seymour give in to the plant’s demands and will he win the heart of kooky shop
assistant Audrey?

With a mixture of popular music styles – including rock ’n’ roll, doo-wap and Motown – Little Shop of Horrors is a charming and funny boy-meets-girl, plant-eats-world musical that never fails to entertain. But remember… don’t feed the plants!

The cast includes Gareth Cassidy (Around the World in 80 Days), Leon Craig (Jesus Christ Superstar), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Rent), Karis Jack (Urinetown), Andrew London (War Horse), Frances Mayli McCann (Here Lies Love), Frances McNamee (RSC, Pride and Prejudice), Carole Stennett (The Lion King, The Bodyguard), Ben Stott (Wicked), Simeon Truby (Sweeney Todd) and Jez Unwin (Once, Ghost, Top Hat).
