A workshop lead by BAFTA nominated and award-winning Essex born playwright Kenny Emson exploring writing for live audiences and trends in modern theatre.
The workshop is for any aspiring writer looking to hone their skills and find about more about how to establish yourself and your voice as an artist within the modern theatre landscape.
This workshop will including text analysis, writing exercises and anecdotes about Kenny’s ten years working as a professional writer.
No experience needed.

About Kenneth Emson
Multi award winning writer for stage and screen. Nominated for BAFTA craft and BAFTA CYMRU awards. Plays include PLASTIC, QUADROPHENIA (Mercury Theatre) PARKWAY DREAMS (Eastern Angles) RUST, TERRORISM (Bush Theatre/Hightide). TV includes EASTENDERS and DOCTORS. Has taught playwriting for The Royal Court, Old Vic, Leeds Playhouse and is a visiting lecturer for St Mary’s University.
