MonologueSlam UK 2016
MonologueSlam UK returns to the Mercury Theatre!
Following a lengthy audition process, 20 actors will be battling it out on stage in front of a panel of casting directors, agents, and the Channel 4 Drama Commissioning Team.
The showcase takes place across the UK with an annual national final in London in December. The only industry showcase to be sponsored by casting directory Spotlight and Equity, MonologueSlam UK is renowned for offering a direct link between talent and the industry.
There’s also the opportunity to perform in front of the industry panel yourself with the Golden Ticket! Put your name in the hat on the night and one lucky audience member will be picked to take part, joining the other performers onstage in front the panel.
An added element of competition raises the stakes for the chosen performers. MonologueSlam UK brings you the most exciting new UK talent!
Hosted by actor Dean Smith (Last Tango in Halifax).
