Monday October 23rd – Friday 27th October 2017

A week-long course for young people aged 14-18 interested in the theatre. Join us to work with industry professionals to find out what goes into producing a Mercury Theatre pantomime.

Throughout the week, they will get a chance to work with:
• The Wardrobe Department
• Marketing
• Scenic Construction
• Technical Theatre Lighting and Sound
• Scenic Arts Department
• Audience Services
• Stage Management

Young people do not need to have prior experience of working in the theatre, they just need enthusiasm.

Cost: Originally £50 – this week is now funded by Essex Employment & Skills board so no cost is payable by participants. Lunch is not included – participants should provide their own lunch.

The activity will take place generally between 10am and 4pm – there may be some evening activity included as well. The timetable will be confirmed in advance of the week starting.
