Gary Owen speeds Wedekind’s provocative and notorious play into the present, where sex offers an incendiary narrative to young lives already at risk in a dangerous world they cannot control. This production will be directed by Shane Dempsey.
“…By any measure going, this is perfect theatre: intelligent, moving, and horribly, horribly relevant. Most of all, though, in those final moments, it feels like the start of a revolution.”
Andrew Haydon (The Guardian on Iphigenia in Splott)
