The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee at the Mercury
The Mercury are inviting families to join together for a fun-filled free day of street party fun, featuring lots of outside activities on the recently re-furbished Mercury Theatre piazza, hosted by regular Pantomime favourites Antony Stuart-Hicks and Dale Superville.
Activities will include:
- Dance & music performances
- Sing-a-longs
- Dance workshops
- Crafts
- Dressing up
- Face painting
- and more!
The day is FREE to attend and no need to book. Just turn up! A full schedule of the day will be announced very soon.
Update 4 June:
Come rain or shine, the Jubilee activities will be going ahead. We will make a final call at 10am tomorrow.
Please note some activities may be limited on capacity or there may be a short queue.

2.45pm – Take Part: Family Dance Fitness
3.15pm – Watch: Musical Hits with Craig and Rosie
3.45pm – Take Part: Sing-a-long
4pm – Take Part: Dance along with our Senior Social Club
4.15pm – Take Part: Tea Dance
5.15pm – Watch: Drumming Performance
6pm – Watch: Musical Hits from Craig & Rosie
7pm – Watch: Folk Band – Jessie’s Ghost
8pm – Finish

Eat & drink with us! Visit our Cafe Bar and explore our exciting menu. You can also a ‘Cream Tea In A Box’ as part of the afternoon, please book online in advance.
