We don’t need no education!
When Pink Floyd’s iconic double album burst onto the music scene in 1979, it caught the imagination of a generation with its epic rock score, including songs such as Another Brick In The Wall, and its heart-rending tale of the rise and fall of a rock star called Pink.
From its opening track, culminating in the sounds of a plane crashing and a baby crying, The Wall plunged its audience into a surreal journey through misunderstood childhood, troubled marriage, social isolation and ultimately, to the brink of madness. It was and remains, without doubt, one of the most theatrical rock concept albums ever produced.
Now the Mercury Young Company returns to the stage, fresh from their 2013 sold-out stage adaptation of Quadrophenia, to bring Roger Waters’ extraordinary rock opera to life for a new generation. FIVE PERFORMANCES ONLY – book early to guarantee your seats!
