You are cordially invited to the ball of the year with Cinderella, the ultimate rags-to-riches tale.

Poor Cinderella spends her days cleaning, cooking and tidying for her rotten step-sisters. That is until one day the Prince decides to host an extravagant ball to find his princess and insists that every eligible lady should attend. Little does Cinderella know, life is about to turn itself upside down and an exciting adventure awaits.

Will Cinderella escape her daily chores? Will the Prince find his happy ever after? Will the Sisters ever stop their incessant whining? Cinderella is the perfect festive fix for the whole family to enjoy and will leave you singing all the way home – just don’t leave your slippers behind!

Festive fun from home

We’re delighted to be able to share a little panto magic and sparkle for you to enjoy in your homes during lockdown.

Here are just a couple of ways you can make even more of an event of it!

Tweet Along!
We’re encouraging all audience members who have Twitter to tweet along to the YouTube Premiere using hashtag #MagicToDo. Like and share your favourite moments with other viewers, and keep an eye out as some of our wonderful pantomime cast will be tweeting along too!

Design your own tickets
Before the stream begins, why not get crafty and make your own tickets for this at home theatre experience? We’ve also made a handy Cinderella ticket template for you to customise and colour in. Download the tickets as a Word Doc or PDF.

Colour in Quackers
You’ll meet Quackers during your #MercuryPanto adventure, but before you do, show us what you think he looks like and colour him in! Download the colouring in sheet as a Word Doc or PDF.

Don’t forget to share your creations with us using #MagicToDo!

Thank you

Cinderella was originally live streamed to a number of local medical and care facilities on Friday 20 December 2019. Thank you to our Digital Producer, Ben Pugh, for making this live stream and resulting YouTube Premiere possible.

Enormous thanks also to all of the cast, creatives and crew who worked so hard to make Cinderella at Mercury at Abbey Field our third record breaking pantomime in a row, and so kindly allowed us to share this footage with you as part of our #MercuryOnline programme during the COVID19 UK lockdown.
