Applications for Spring 2024 now open!
Mercury is looking for local artists to partner with to provide a collection of beautiful, bespoke, handmade items to be sold in our Shop. We’re looking for a collection of items that not only reflects your artistic vision, but are also sustainable, ethically-made, and unique.
Initially, your items will be displayed for a four month period, with the potential to extend if successful. This opportunity is ideal both for artists who are new to dipping their toes into commercial possibility, and seasoned artists who are hoping to broaden their audience.
We want to hear from a wide range of people, who create different crafts, such as ceramics, textiles, wood, glass jewellery, metal work, candles, soap and other gift items.
On average the Mercury sees 110,000 people walk through its doors every year, meaning this is a fantastic opportunity to have your work seen and sold!

Please have products to us within the week commencing Mon 22 Apr 2024.
To apply:
• Provide a short biography, explaining your past experience and why you would like to be selected for your items to be displayed in our shop (200-250 words)
• Provide a short description of why you want to sell your work at the Mercury? (Max 150 words)
• Provide at least 3 and no more than 5 good quality images of your proposed collection
• Provide us with your pricing list and a description of your work
• Provide us with a copy of your public liability insurance (this can be sent at a later date if you don’t yet have one)
• Complete the application form (found below)
Rules & Guidelines
• Products must be designed and handmade by the Maker
• You must live within 25 miles of the Mercury Theatre
• You must be able to restock if required
• If you are selected, you must be able to provide a copy of your public liability insurance
• You must be able to provide stock for the spring season (From late April – early Autumn 2024)
• There is no fee to display in our shop if your application is successful, but commission on sales will be 25% or 40% plus VAT (dependent on product price).
