Getting Around Inside

Our theatre building is more accessible than ever before. Our main entrance can be accessed at street level without encountering any steps. Automated doors lead you into main entrance where you will find our friendly Customer Experience team at the box office with low level serving, cloakroom, and kiosk/gift shop. Our café bar is located on the ground floor and has plenty of space to sit down and relax.
Floor Plan of the Mercury Theatre

The theatre auditorium is tiered. We recommend people with reduced mobility choose seats in Row J that have flat level access and can be accessed easily from both lifts.

We can accommodate up to six wheelchair users in the theatre in our accessible viewing areas. These spaces are bookable online for our Access for All scheme members. If you require a seat transfer, please speak to the Customer Experience team who will be happy to arrange this for you. Our friendly staff can also provide refreshments for you to purchase at the interval at your seat.

We welcome assistance dogs at all performances, please inform us when booking. Your dog can come into the auditorium with you, or be well looked after by our Customer Experience team. Just let us know at the time of booking, or you can do this online when joining our Access for All scheme.
