Join our celebration of Black History Month featuring Lawrence Walker, Chairperson of Colchester Black History Month, providing a talk on celebrating the Windrush migration, and incredible live music from the Powerhouse Gospel Choir.
The choir is made up of seasoned singers and musicians who have worked with some of the world’s top artists and music legends, however at their core is their love of gospel music and the message it represents. Powerhouse’s uniqueness comes from the magical blend of their voices producing a sound that is soulful, passionate, uplifting and utterly captivating.
Led by the inimitable T-Jae Cole whose drive and passion for Gospel Music makes him one of the UK’s most respected gospel choir directors.
