IMPORTANT NOTICE
This event will take place in our new location 'Mercury at Abbey Field'.
This is a state-of-the-art pop-up theatre that will house a limited season of shows from Autumn 2019 and is situated on Abbey Field in Colchester.
The site will be a fully enclosed and heated temporary theatre, with dedicated parking and coach drop off points and is accessible for those on foot from Circular Road East Lower.

We are back with another charming pantomime for 2019!
After its second record-breaking year, the Mercury panto has been supersized to fill our new pop-up performance space. Which can only mean more glitter, glamour, songs and seats at our stunning new Abbey Field location!
You are cordially invited to the ball of the year with Cinderella, the ultimate rags-to-riches tale.
Poor Cinderella spends her days cleaning, cooking and tidying for her rotten step-sisters. That is until one day the Prince decides to host an extravagant ball to find his princess and insists that every eligible lady should attend. Little does Cinderella know, life is about to turn itself upside down and an exciting adventure awaits.
Will Cinderella escape her daily chores? Will the Prince find his happy ever after? Will the Sisters ever stop their incessant whining? Cinderella is the perfect festive fix for the whole family to enjoy and will leave you singing all the way home – just don’t leave your slippers behind!

The Mercury at Abbey Field has an increased seating capacity of over 800 seats and will be completely undercover, fully heated, with full bar, kiosks and toilets. The Mercury are confident that this temporary venue will offer a stunning, fully-accessible and unique theatre-going experience for their valued customers, combining the high level of service and facilities they have come to expect from the theatre, with an unforgettable new style of venue.
