Every month we have a wonderful line up of over thirty stalls joining us on The Piazza outside the theatre, selling a fantastic range of products including honey direct from the beekeeper, freshly baked slices of delicious cake from Alex’s Artisan Bakery and scrummy Brownies from the Essex Bakery. We have fresh apple juice and loose apples from Daymen’s Hill Orchard, a range of biodynamic vegetables and organic salt marsh lamb from Lauriston Farm, fresh beef and pork plus raw milk from Colletts Farm, local sausages from Totham Bangers, mushrooms from Mycotek and breads & sourdoughs from Fresh n Crunchy.
Homemade pies and local cheeses come from Hoskyn’s Deli, we have pickles and chutneys from The Sticky Pickle Company and a lovely selection of jams and preserves from Country Cottage Preserves. Local gin is available too as well as local wine from Bromley Brook Vineyard and craft beer from Ramsey Island Brewery from Mersea. We have chocolate from Tempr’d and flowers/x-mas wreaths from Countryside Flowers. And for a snack? How about freshly baked, stuffed New York style bagels from Beats & Bagels or delicious samosas and snacks from Mena’s Indian Banquet.
The Treat Box bring a huge range of dog treats & accessories too so make sure you bring your four legged friends!
Each month we have a small number of gorgeous handmade crafts including hand block printed organic cotton bags from Charlotte Harwood, natural skincare products from Thistle & Rose and beautiful coastal inspired jewellery from Sage & Seasalt.
The farmers’ market is held on the first Saturday of every month (where possible), from 9.30am – 2pm on our Piazza.
