Colchester Fringe: Summer Weekender – A Year and a Day
Show Bio
From the team that created The Night Ali Died and now with upcoming runs in both Taiwan and Philadelphia, A Year and a Day returns to Colchester after receiving global success.
An inexplicable curse causes Nathan to skip a year and a day into the future every time he falls asleep, only existing for twenty-four hours once a year before being thrown forward in time. Leaving behind a botched heist, the love of his life, his debt-ridden family and a jaded criminal gang, Nathan must learn how to help the ones he cares about in this new and ever-changing existence.
Spanning sixty-five years and two countries, A Year and a Day is a bold, poignant and darkly funny exploration of a man trying to right his wrongs as he rapidly skips through time. Brought to you by Raising Cain Productions and performed in many voices by 12x award winning actor Christopher Sainton-Clark, A Year and a Day is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout this twisting, turning journey.
Winner of The Prague Fringe Performance Award, Nelson Fringe Best Solo Performance Award, Nelson Fringe Best Actor Award and Nelson Fringe Best Script Award.
