Show Bio

When a young couple, Sam and Callum, decide to start a family, it should be a time of excitement and possibility. But plans are derailed by Michael Burst-Your-Bublé and his band of breathers. As somatic OCD tightens its grip, Sam is plagued by the past, tortured by intrusive thoughts and tormented by TikTok. Can she and her future child survive her life-threatening obsession with blinking, swallowing and breathing?

Dancing on the boundaries of theatrical form, this quirky ensemble piece goes head-to-head with OCD. Funny, surprising and loaded with humanity, Breathe… is a bold new play by Colchester playwright, Jazz Ely, produced by Colchester fringe veterans and award-winners, 3wishes theatre CIC (4.48 Psychosis, Love is a Bruise).
