Our new technical packages are designed to give you everything you need for your performance, with the flexibility to choose what works best for you. Each Main House hire now includes our standard package at no extra charge, giving you access to essential equipment like basic lighting and sound. For those looking to elevate their production, we also offer exciting add-ons like headset microphones, hazers for atmospheric effects, additional radio microphones, confetti drops, versatile staging equipment and more. Whether you need a professional sound system or enhanced lighting to make your show shine, we’ve got you covered.
These packages are perfect for everyone, whether you’re new to theatrical productions or a seasoned professional. Our goal is to make planning simple and stress-free while giving you the tools to make your performance truly unforgettable.

Hiring the Mercury for your performance
Our newly refurbished building offers you two state-of-the-art, fully-accessible, auditoria for your community performances, lectures and workshops.
Our theatre seats 530 people and has two accessible viewing areas for visitors with access needs.
The studio is a versatile space with capacity to seat 98 people in performance mode. In workshop mode, the seats are retracted, offering an ample space for a closer and more intimate experience.
Our hearing loop system is available for patrons with hearing aids. Find out more about our access facilities.
