‘Black Mirror’ meets ‘Married at First Sight’.

Can Zara and Joe save the human race? Set in a near-future world, the pair are matched up for a scientific programme designed to genetically engineer the ultimate child to survive man-made viruses, global warming and pollution.

PRETTY THINGS raises questions on motherhood, society’s obsession with perfection and the ethics of eugenics, whilst exploring the chaotic nature of human emotions. Ultimately it is their ‘faults’ and physical ‘glitches’ that make them human.

Tickets are FREE for this research and development script in hand rehearsal with Q&A discussion.
