Engagement Producer

The Mercury is seeking an imaginative Engagement Producer, who is passionate about working with our local communities in and outside of the theatre. This is an exciting time to join the Mercury, as the theatre launched a new programme of workshops and activities during the summer.

​This is the perfect role for someone with a thirst for impacting the lives of the individuals and communities that surround the theatre. The Engagement Producer will plan, produce and ensure delivery of all community engagement activities.​The successful candidate will be confident in planning, producing and delivery of projects. Experience of working with children and young people is vital, strong networking skills are an advantage, and an approachable and personable vibe is a must.

Customer Experience Supervisor

We’re seeking a visitor focused Customer Experience Supervisor to join the Mercury team. You must be excited about welcoming customers and visitors to the newly refurbished Mercury.

As a member of the Customer Experience team, you are likely to have some customer facing or retail experience. You will support the Customer Experience team in providing a Mercury welcome to all visitors, including ticket sales, seating audiences, serving in the new café bar and event management.

Bar Supervisor

Bar Supervisor is a new role at the Mercury. We’re seeking a sales focused Supervisor to join the team. As part of the Customer Experience team the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring quality delivery of service in our stylish new café bar.

Ticket Sales Supervisor

Head of Marketing and Communications

In the summer of 2021, the Mercury reopened with a newly refurbished building and recently launched a new website and brand.

We are now looking for an imaginative, ambitious and innovative Head of Marketing and Communications to join our team. You are a proven strategic marketeer with a passion for engaging and developing audiences for main house and studio programmes, alongside promoting our extensive community engagement and commercial activities.

The successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership to the Marketing and Communications department creating and delivering marketing and press campaigns that excite audiences and visitors with the new season’s programme of productions, engagement activities and our stylish café bar. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.
