Customer Experience Assistants
We want every visitor at the Mercury to have a great time. Our Customer Experience team are a massive part of making it possible. We’re seeking enthusiastic Customer Experience team members to join #TeamMercury.
As part of the Customer Experience team, you will provide a Mercury welcome to all visitors, including guiding and seating audiences, serving in the café bar and event delivery.
As a member of the Customer Experience team, you are likely to have some customer facing or retail experience, but training will be given. You will be expected to be customer focused, organised and, most of all, enthusiastic and welcoming.
If you have the ability to successfully handle the multiple demands of a busy theatre and café bar, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for an experienced enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Café Bar Supervisor to join our team.
Do you have a proven record of delivering excellent customer services in a café bar setting? The Café Bar Supervisor, working with the Customer Experience Supervisors, is key to delivering great customer service and the Mercury’s welcome to the public.
The Mercury’s Café Bar is a great place to meet friends, or to stop for lunch or a light supper before seeing a show and then stay for a drink after, or even to just come for a drink outside on a warm summer evening. We are looking for a supervisor who is great with customers and can get the best out of a staff team during a fast paced service.
If you have the ability to successfully handle the multiple demands on the café bar, from ensuring delivery of pre-theatre drinks and snacks, cake after a class, and after show events, we want to hear from you!
We are open to applicants seeking a full time role or a 20-hour job share. This role requires you to work weekends and evenings.
