Line Chef

Are you looking for an exciting short term contract? We’re seeking a creative and experienced Line Chef to join the Mercury’s award winning team for 6 months.

​As one of our Line Chefs, you must demonstrate culinary skill, have great taste, and be passionate about delivering exciting food for our audiences and visitors.

You will share responsibility for the overall kitchen operation, including stock control, food quality and hygiene standards, alongside supporting the creation of our seasonal menus available in our new café bar.

Do you have previous experience in preparing and serving fresh, high quality, locally sourced food in a fast-paced environment and a creative approach to menus, ensuring that tasty dishes are served quickly, while understanding margins, costing and stock control?

If you have the ability to successfully handle the multiple demands on the kitchen, from pre-theatre snacks and cake after class, to conferences, and pre-theatre dining – we want to hear from you!
