Ever wondered what happens at a performing arts school? Fame The Musical follows a group of students from their first lesson at New York’s High School for Performing Arts to their graduation. Watch the students’ relationships unfurl and their struggles with the challenges that a successful career in show business presents. Who will make the grade and have the perseverance to achieve ‘Fame’?

About CO2
The Colchester Operatic Society youth group, known collectively as CO2, provides opportunities for young people to get involved with local theatre.
Open to anyone aged 11-23, the group is incredibly popular and has produced 34 shows since it was formed in 1984, involving over 2,000 young people producing annual shows in the Autumn for a two week run at the Mercury Theatre Colchester.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
