Join us in the Café Bar for our Band Night Lates! On Fri 10 Feb we are excited to welcome Rev Simpkins.
Join the Reverend Matthew Simpkins as he performs a selection his favourite compositions from across his time as a songwriter, many of which haven’t been performed for decades. From his naïve Syd Barrett-influenced teenage songs, via the raucous psychedelia of his days with FuzzFace and the unhinged Gospel chaos of Sons of Joy, through to the tender strains of the Rev Simpkins’ acclaimed 2022 LP, Saltings, Matt’s songs have always been playful, melodious, and rich in harmony and emotion.
