The Comedy Network: Fringe Preview (Jul)
We are excited to welcome back Avalon Comedy for another evening with The Comedy Network and our summer Fringe Previews are back for Summer!
The Comedy Network is a monthly series of laugh out loud comedy nights, featuring the best up-and-coming comedians – we can promise you a great night with lots of laughs and talent.
For Summer, we are excited to have some special work-in-progress Fringe Preview shows.
Previous line-up guests have included Sophie Duker (Taskmaster), Jayde Adams (contestant on the recent series of Strictly Come Dancing), Simon Brodkin (also known as Lee Nelson) and many more.
The line-up for July includes Matt Forde and Simon Brodkin.
Matt Forde: Inside No.10
Matt Forde (Spitting Image, HIGNFY, British Scandal, The Last Leg, The Royal Variety Performance) explores the dark comedy horror that is British politics, ahead of the next election. Plus silly voices. ‘Our foremost satirical stand-up… whatever your politics, you’ll find excellence here’ **** (Sunday Times). ‘Possibly the best political comedy show on the Fringe’ ***** (Telegraph). ‘Forde is as gratifyingly sane as comedians come… smart, funny ideas’ **** (Times).
Simon Brodkin
After a sold-out, critically-acclaimed 120-date international tour, Britain’s most-viewed comedian on TikTok, Lee Nelson creator and world-famous prankster who showered Sepp Blatter with dollar bills and handed Theresa May a P45 is back with an outrageous new stand-up show about God, guns, Matt Hancock, Ayatollah Khamenei and a man called Xavier.
‘No show has made me laugh more’ ★★★★ Times
‘A full-on rat-a-tat gagfest’ ★★★★ Mail On Sunday
’Hilarious’ ★★★★ Scotsman
Please note: the Fringe previews are a work in progress and all line-ups are subject to artist availability and can change.
