We are excited to welcome back Avalon Comedy for another evening with The Comedy Network and our summer Fringe Previews are back for Summer!

The Comedy Network is a monthly series of laugh out loud comedy nights, featuring the best up-and-coming comedians – we can promise you a great night with lots of laughs and talent.

For Summer, we are excited to have some special work-in-progress Fringe Preview shows.

Previous line-up guests have included Sophie Duker (Taskmaster), Jayde Adams (contestant on the recent series of Strictly Come Dancing) Simon Brodkin (also known as Lee Nelson), Eleanor Tiernan (who has had many stints at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival) and many more.

The line-up for June includes Aaron Simmonds and Luke Kempner.

Aaron Simmonds: Baby Steps (WIP)

Aaron has been doing stand-up comedy without standing up for 8 years now, and it’s time for that to change! Join him as he attempts to do something he’s never done before… Stand-up comedy, standing up. ‘His hilarious stories are so well delivered making the audience howl’ ***** (Neurodiverse Review) ‘hysterically funny’ **** Voice Mag, ‘superb storyteller’ (Scotsman) As seen on The Russell Howard Hour, Guessable and The Stand Up Sketch Show.

Luke Kempner in Gritty Police Drama: A One-Man Musical

Star of Spitting Image (Britbox) and Steph’s Packed Lunch (Channel 4), impressionist Luke Kempner brings his one-man British Police Drama to Edinburgh. It’s Line Of Duty meets Happy Valley, meets Clarkson’s Farm meets The Match of the Day, meets King Charles meets Traitors. With 60 impressions all played by one man. Whether you’re King Charles, Ian McKellen or even Claudia Winkleman, in Gritty Police Drama… no-one is safe. As seen and heard on The Last Leg (Channel 4), The Stand-Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Love Island: Aftersun (ITV2) and The Now Show (BBCR4).

Please note: the Fringe previews are a work in progress and all line-ups are subject to artist availability and can change.
