Essex joins forces for LGBTQ+ History Month

LGBTQ+ History Month celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and non-binary history and we’re delighted to be offering these events in collaboration with Outhouse East and Colchester Pride.

February is full of exciting opportunities to engage with the Essex offer online, no matter where in the world you may be:

Colchester Pride
For this year’s LGBTQ+ History Month, Colchester Pride are putting the call out for Colchester (and surrounding areas) creatives. Are you an artist? A writer? Photographer?

Colchester Pride is looking for a selection of you to take part in their plans for the month, featuring the more overlooked parts of creativity that you have to offer.

If you have any work that you’d like to be featured, please get in contact with Colchester Pride by messaging them directly on their Facebook page. They would love to see and share your poetry, paintings, photographs and stories, and to find out how your sexuality and/or gender influences your art!

The Outhouse
Are you looking for some LGBTQ+ information/training for your business, school or college during LGBTQ+ History Month?
