Acrow Galvanizing Ltd. become the first Premiere-level member of the Mercury’s Corporate Partnerships scheme

The Mercury Theatre is delighted to announce the launch of a new partnership with local company, Acrow Galvanizing, as part of their Corporate Partnerships scheme. These partnerships encourage local businesses to work together alongside the theatre to secure the future of the Mercury, to grow the local economy, and to deliver benefits for staff and customers.

Acrow Galvanizing, the theatre’s first ever premiere partner, are part of the wider Wedge Group Galvanizing, the UK’s largest hot-dip galvanizing organisation. Located in Haverhill, the company offers services throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, London, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

Daniel Buckroyd, Artistic Director for the Mercury Theatre, said:

As a charity, our future depends on partnerships such as this

“We are thrilled to begin what we hope will be a long and fruitful partnership with Acrow Galvanizing. The Mercury has always been a theatre for Colchester, so it’s central to our vision that we continue to deepen relationships with local businesses, and with the wider Colchester community as a whole.

“As a charity, our future depends on partnerships such as this, which support us in delivering our work both on and off stage – within the Mercury and across the region as a whole. We are delighted to be partnering with Acrow as a company that, like the Mercury, strives to deliver excellent customer service, and I look forward to us working more closely in the years to come.”

John Nicholson, Commercial Manager for Acrow Galvanizing, said:

The team here at Acrow Galvanizing Ltd is exceptionally proud of our local roots having been located in the community for over forty years

“As an organisation, we are absolutely delighted to be a Premiere Partner of the Mercury Theatre and to be a part of the venue’s ambitious plans to deliver even more to individuals, families and businesses across the local area and beyond.

“The team here at Acrow Galvanizing Ltd is exceptionally proud of our local roots having been located in the community for over forty years, and we’re passionate about working together to make it an even better place to live, work and play.

“Just like the team at the Mercury Theatre, we’re committed to continuing to enhance the services we provide to our customers. This promise saw us move from our previous Saffron Walden site to our upgraded facility in Haverhill in 2016, and is why it was only natural for us to get involved with this fantastic project, to support the team and to help raise the profile of the theatre and all it has to offer – now and in the future.”

Companies interested in partnering with the theatre are encouraged to contact Audience Services Manager Maria Harrison by calling 01206 245471 or by emailing [email protected] to discuss opportunities on offer.
