Mercury Theatre Company members Gus Gallagher, Gina Isaac and Shuna Snow join an international cast and Buenos Aires’ most innovative Tango orchestra, Astillero, for a daring new production of Shakespeare’s classic tale of forbidden love.
Through the power and passion of the evocative tango and Shakespeare’s sublime poetry, the tragedy of the lovers is seen not as fate but an act of orchestration. The musicians intertwine with the actors creating their world and ultimately their death.
