Homegrown Programme

This season we are inviting artists from all across the East region to come and play in our new Homegrown Programme.

Homegrown is the Mercury’s new Artist Development programme.

The programme gets its name from the chemical symbol for Mercury, which is Hg.

Hg stands for Homegrown.

Our Homegrown programme is designed to support and foster artists based in the East who want to research, explore and test their ideas.

If you are an artist in the region and have a project you are working on and would like:

  • Rehearsal space
  • Support through mentoring with an individual development plan
  • Help with funding applications
  • Producers toolkit masterclasses
  • A showcase evening of rehearsed work in June
  • An opportunity for selected pieces to get into Hg Festival which will be the opening festival in the studio when our fully refurbished theatre opens.

Then please apply to become part of our Homegrown Programme, details below.

How to apply?
